Hell, these days I get blank states from my kids when I try to explain tv scheduling to them, while they scroll through their watchlists on Netflix. One of my best friends growing up had family in the US and it was always shitty/awesome when he came back from summer holiday there, telling me of all the movies he saw months before our own release, and showing off the cool transformers he got that never released in Europe, like Shockwave and the predacons. Living in the UK and having to wait weeks, months or maybe things not coming out at all after they’ve released in Japan or the US.
